The suitcase

Suitcase

We both laughed, but the cure for the headache is still urgent: Ruslan had to find some manufacturers. He brought me to his room, opening his suitcase, full of all kinds of metal and plastic parts.”Look, Anatoliy, I have to find factories producing all these parts, but in the exhibition, I found a few of them, do you have any idea?”

“Yes, Ruslan, you know, when I searched motor parts for Sasha, I found that there are many factories of auto parts in Wenzhou, far more than motor parts. Maybe we should go there to take a try?” I answered, showing him some web pages of factories.

We flew to Wenzhou since we thought that we would find nothing here in Guangzhou.

We started visiting factories from those I found on the internet. We had a good talk with the first factory’s owner. At the end of our conversation, Ruslan opened his suitcase again, asking him if he knows someone manufacturing some of his products in the suitcase. “Oh yes, one of my friends is making this pin, and another friend is forging that metal. Let me drive you to my friends! My friends would also recommend you other factories.”

We followed the “relation” chain for the next 2 days, and finally, the suitcase of samples was empty, because we left all of them at the factories which we thought capable to manufacture.

We flew to Guangzhou again, for his plane to Ukraine was from there. On the plane to Guangzhou, I saw he was relaxed, and I was too. We began to talk.

“Hey Ruslan, no offense, what happened to your fingers?”

“I knew you would ask, it was an accident in a factory. When I was a child, my parents died early, I was making a living by collecting bottles, and papers. I was brought to Armenia by a friend at the age of 15, where I was taught how to produce plastic bottles. My fingers got cut while I was operating a punching machine.”

“Sorry.”

“It’s nothing. Anatoliy, you know what? I haven’t been educated even in primary school, but now I have 2 professors working for me. I consult them about everything.”

“Wow, you are great.”

“You are good too, with your help, I ‘sold’ out my suitcase! I think WE WILL WORK.”
